Compagniesdrift Wines, established in 2010, is a 100 percent community-owned
organisation, with ties to leading Stellenbosch wine estates Meerlust, Vriesenhof and
Ken Forrester. Our range of quality wines is made by renowned winemaker Altus
Treurnicht and is available for tastings and sales at our Wine and Farm Shop. We also
have a selection of home-made preserves available to enjoy with our wines. Visitors to
Compagniesdrift will be welcomed by our friendly staff who share our story of hope,
growth and inspiration.

Gemütlichkeit is the order of the day at this beautiful wine estate situated on the slopes
of the Simonsberg Mountain. This family owned farm is celebrating over 80 years of
excellence! Visitors are welcome 7 days a week, all year round. Taste award-winning
and iconic wines and try the popular eco-passion Wine & Fynbos cupcake pairing. Dine
al fresco on the garden terraces in summer with a view clear across to Table Mountain in
the distance, or cosy up inside by the fireplace in winter. Look out for annual events such
as the Mushroom Forages and Jazz & Cheese Fondues.
