The Story of People
Diemersfontein Wine & Country estate in Wellington, is a much loved third-generation
wine farm. Since producing the original Coffee & Chocolate style Pinotage in 2001,
Diemersfontein has become a household name. Our production is focused on Pinotage,
Chenin Blanc and Shiraz and also of interest are niche wines of Malbec and Cabernet
Franc. Along with 7 days a week wine tasting, we also have graded guest accommo-
dation, conference facilities and a restaurant offering magnificent views of the valley.

The valley in which Doolhof lies is blessed with unique and varied terroirs. The
microclimates, growing conditions and soil types make it ideal for growing wine grapes.
Taste our award-winning wines in our elegant tasting room or visit our restaurant for
flavourful dishes. Experience our lush gardens when taking a leisurely stroll on the Estate
along the River- or Vineyard Walk. For the more adventurous, we also offer the scenic
Groenberg Hike.
